IT SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree
- Ability to work independently and as a strong team player
- Be service oriented
- Excellent understanding of computer hardware, CCTV and Operating Systems
- Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills
- Excellent understanding of Active Directory including Domain, Group, User structure and rights
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office suite including Office 365
- Exposure to modern Windows Operating systems (Windows 7 / Windows 10 / Windows 2012).
- Adherence to prescribed helpdesk procedures. Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Pleasant personality with a good learning attitude
- Good interpersonal and communications skills
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide End user support for all business systems and applications deployed within PPS/CM/GROUP. The function includes support via telephone, remote support and hands on, the helpdesk system and escalation of tickets to the Network/Systems Administrators where applicable and required
- Be available for emergency IT support after office hours & weekends when necessary.
- Take ownership and responsibility for assigned Incidents, Requests or Tasks and follow them up until solved and keep the user up to date.
- Setup desktops, notebooks and printers for local and regional end users.
- Performs the installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of personal computer and related systems.
- Install software, patches, and updates on desktops, laptops and personal devices.
- User account administration.
- Interact with vendors for the procurement of IT hardware, software and services.
- Participate as needed in ongoing IT Site Support projects
- Serve to educate and carry out training and assist the team to implement processes and making improvement and changes.
